Postgraduate Study in the College of Engineering
The College of Engineering offers a wide range of study options at postgraduate level in Engineering, Forestry, Mathematics and Statistics, and Computer Science and Software Engineering. Taught-only (coursework) options are available as well as the more standard research-based (project or thesis) options.
The College of Engineering is recognised as a centre of excellence for both teaching and research, with staff specialising in various subject areas in each Department including robotics, biofluid mechanics, software development, process engineering, and earthquake engineering.
A number of research centres are housed in the College of Engineering and there are strong relationships with other research centres in UC and in New Zealand. Close interactions with industry are also well established.
